Under the direction of Philip A. Draganov, the Orchestra of the Academy of the Arts Bern will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 as part of this major symphonic project—one of the composer’s most beloved works, whose 200th anniversary of his death will be commemorated in 2027.

The program will also feature a classical solo concerto, among other pieces. The soloist will be selected in November 2026 through an internal competition at the university.

The first concert will take place at the Yehudi Menuhin Forum in Bern. The second concert will be held to benefit the Swiss Childhood Cancer Research Foundation.
